WebWorthy's Website Design Process
The following is a breakdown of the usual steps followed by WebWorthy while creating a new website. Please note that because each website is dealt with on an individual basis, the process may vary slightly, depending on your specific needs.
1. Free Initial Consultation
During the Free Consultation, we will simply meet to discuss your needs and put together a basic structure of your content. The purpose of this consultation will be to gather the necessary information so that an accurate Cost Estimate may be created.
2. Free Cost Estimate
A Free Cost Estimate will be given, based on the information gathered during the Initial Consultation and/or through the Web Design Questionnaire. Every attempt will be made to give as accurate a Cost Estimate as possible. There are no obligations whatsoever upon receiving the Free Cost Estimate.
3. Complete Content Structure
Assuming the Cost Estimate is accepted, we will next create the complete content structure, and advice / guidance will be given on how the text-based content should be written in order to maximize Search Engine Optimization.
4. Visual Layout Design
Because the actual content is the most important aspect of your website, the Visual Layout will generally be designed around the Complete Content Structure. With the given color-schemes, logos, etc, a Visual Layout will be designed and presented. Changes and/or additions will then be made until the layout meets your satisfaction.
5. Website Development
Once the Visual Layout has been approved, the actual website will be hand-coded using the layout as a model.
6. Insertion of Content
Once the website is developed, then the actual content can be inserted.
7. Testing / Client Approval
After all content is inserted, the website will be tested to ensure that everything is in proper working order and validates with W3C standards. At this point the website will be presented for Client Approval.
